Vladilen Bugaev
Co-owner and founder of BVS. Manufacturing and technically complex projects.

An entrepreneur with 22 years of experience. A specialist in manufacturing projects, industrial equipment and working with China.
Over 22 years in business and management, I have worked across industries, from retail and wholesale, food service and other services to running companies, launching my own projects and manufacturing.
This experience gradually led me to technically complex projects: developing and bringing equipment to market, sourcing machines, assemblies, components and spare parts from China, and working with manufacturers and industrial businesses.
Today, I specialise in manufacturing projects and industrial equipment, working with Chinese factories, equipping businesses and production facilities, technical development, and public and corporate procurement under Federal Law No. 44-FZ and Federal Law No. 223-FZ.
My experience across different sectors lets me see the whole project, from its business model and economics to the technical solution, manufacturing, procurement and delivery.
Much of my work today involves China. Over the years, I have learned to look beyond finding suppliers: to understand factories' production capabilities, conduct technical negotiations, find the right solutions, coordinate work with manufacturers and see projects through to practical results.
How I can help
Assess complex technical equipment. Understand the task, define the required specifications and configuration, compare technical solutions and select equipment for a specific production process.
Arrange procurement and delivery of industrial equipment and spare parts from China. From manufacturer sourcing and technical negotiations to order configuration, checks and delivery arrangements.
Equip a manufacturing operation or a large business. Select equipment, process units, components and spare parts for mechanical engineering, mining, technical assembly manufacturing and other technically complex sectors.
Arrange the development of equipment for a specific task. If no ready-made solution exists, find a manufacturing site in China to develop and produce equipment, individual units or assemblies to the required specifications.
Arrange reverse engineering. Find a way to reproduce equipment, an electronic device, a part or a technical assembly using an existing sample, documentation or defined specifications.
Help with the project's financial model. Review the main cost items, equipment, manufacturing and delivery costs, compare implementation options and identify ways to improve the project's economics.
Accompany you to a Chinese factory to complete a transaction. Arrange a factory visit, negotiations with management and technical specialists, discussions of partnership terms and support for the transaction on the ground in China.
Advise on the business model. Review an idea or an existing business from an entrepreneur's perspective: how the project will work, how it will generate revenue, what resources it will need, where its weaknesses lie and what changes could make the model more effective.
My values
To specification and on time.
If we agree on an outcome, it must meet the brief. If we set a deadline, it must be met.
I value clarity, keeping my word and fulfilling the commitments I make.
Another goal that matters to me is restoring a culture of entrepreneurship that has been largely lost in society.
For me, entrepreneurship goes beyond trading and making a profit. It means independence, responsibility, the ability to create and produce, negotiate, make decisions, manage your own resources and take responsibility for results.
Over the years, I have worked on a wide range of projects: building them from scratch, growing them, restructuring them, launching new business areas and entering unfamiliar industries. This experience shaped my main principle:
An entrepreneur needs to be able to turn an opportunity into a working business.
This is the experience I can now share with other entrepreneurs.
